Mojstrovka

... another beautiful day... so, lets go climbing... Goal was to reach a 2332m high summit of Mala Mojstrovka over north face (so called Hanzova route).

Summitpost.org says... "One of the sweetest and most attractive Slovenian ferrata trails leads through very steep north face of Mala Mojstrovka. Its name is Hanzova Pot trail. When one observes the face from the Sleme it seams impossible for ordinary mortals to tackle the face but Hanzova Pot safely takes you to the summit offering on the way great fun and action. Anyway this is not for inexperienced mountaineers and especially not for those that suffer from aerophobia."

The last time i was there was in november 2004, but that was an ascent via the normal route, albeit in winter conditions...

Reflections

Ljubljana on a sunny October day :) Well, apparently only saturday was bad (and that was a day for a trip to Italy). Otherwise is sunny, albeit a bit cold. Still... Ljubljana in autumn...

Jof di Miezegnot

Well, we had great weather all week... So, let's go on a short trekking on saturday... to Jof di Miezegnot , 2093 meters high, with interesting remains of First world war (Isonzo front).

Of course, weather went sour, with clouds (and fog) at quite low level... So, one of the companions was also a doggy called Lucifer, or shortly Feri... maybe he had something to with the weather... ? So, instead of excellent views all around we got more that we bargained for... cold weather with dense fog :) Visibility at the top was around 5 meters :(

Barcolana

The biggest regatta in the Mediterranean. Barcolana in the Gulf of Trieste.

For me personally, too far and not particularly interesting. But thats just me :-) At least the boat that won was exceptional...
